سریال درباره میلیاردری است که با استخدام یک مامور سابق CIA تصمیم به پیشگیری از جرم و جنایت می گیرند در حالی که هنوز این جرم ها اتفاق نیفتاده است …خالق این سریال کسی نیست جز "جانتان نولان" ( نویسنده‌ی فیلنامه های ممنتو و بتمن ) ، برادر "کرستوفر نولان" ! البته قابل ذکر است که کریستوفر خیلی جاها اذعان داشته که ، در اکثر کارهاش ، از برادرش جاناتان کمکهای بزرگی گرفته و این یعنی با خالق بزرگی طرف هستیم.

برج خدا حول محور پسری به نام «بَم بیست و پنجم» جریان داره که بیشتر زندگیش رو درحالی که زیر یک برج بزرگ و مرموز زندانی بوده، به همراه دوست نزدیکش، «ریچیل»، گذرانده. وقتی ریچل وارد برج میشه، بَم هم موفق میشه که درش رو باز کنه و حین این که میخواد دوستش رو پیدا کنه، روی هر طبقه با چالش‌های جدیدی رو به رو میشه.
